Stüssy and Nike are once again joining forces to bring a second installment of their coveted Nike LD-1000 collaboration, following the incredibly successful first collection that sold out just a few weeks ago. Building on the momentum of their initial release, the two brands are introducing two new colorways that are sure to generate immense excitement among sneakerheads. The Nike LD-1000, a retro runner that has been reimagined with Stüssy’s signature laid-back vibe, boasts an unchanged construction that has contributed to its massive appeal. The shoe’s winning combination of breathable mesh, waffle traction, and suede overlays has been preserved, allowing the focus to shift to the bold new color schemes.
One of the new colorways embodies the carefree, sun-kissed spirit that defined the marketing campaign for the first drop. Vibrant “Laser Fuschia” accents are juxtaposed with a warm orange base, creating a shoe that exudes the same effortless cool that has become synonymous with Stüssy. You will have the opportunity to cop both new pairs of the Stüssy x Nike LD-1000 on August 2nd via Stussy.com, the brand’s retail channels, and select Dover Street Market stores. Each shoe will retail for $110. For those who missed out on the initial drop, the “Sanded Gold” colorway will receive a wider re-release on August 9th via SNKRS, while the “Green Spark” edition is expected to remain exclusive to Stüssy.
