The Nike Pegasus 41 continues the legacy of the beloved running shoe, delivering a soft, responsive ride while incorporating cutting-edge technology. Nike’s proprietary Air Zoom units and the new full-length ReactX foam midsole provide over 13 percent more energy return compared to its predecessor, the Pegasus 40. ReactX foam not only enhances responsiveness but also reduces the carbon footprint of creating a pair of midsoles by at least 43 percent, thanks to a more efficient manufacturing process.
Listening to the feedback of everyday runners, Nike designers focused on improving the upper’s comfort in the Pegasus 41. The engineered mesh upper is now lighter, more breathable, and more comfortable than previous models. The Dynamic Midfoot Fit system connects the lacing directly to an internal midfoot band, wrapping around the entire foot for complete support.
The Pegasus line caters to various running needs, abilities, and terrains through its family of silhouettes. The Pegasus EasyOn features a collapsible heel and toggle lacing system, making it accessible for athletes of all abilities. Other variations include the Nike Pegasus Trail 5, the Nike Trail Pegasus Trail Gore-Tex®, and the Nike Pegasus Winter Gore-Tex®.
While the “Blueprint” and monochromatic “Volt” colorways have already been unveiled, we now have a first glimpse at a “Bright Crimson” edition featuring a multicolored engineered mesh upper. Hits of Volt and Glacier Blue energize the Summit White mesh base, while a chrome silver Swoosh sits prominently above the Dynamic Midfoot Fit system. The Nike Pegasus 41 is scheduled for release in June 2024 on nike.com and at select retailers.
