PUMA has unveiled the latest chapter in the legacy of the PUMA Mostro with the Archive Pack, a collection that seamlessly blends past and present. Comprising two colorways in “Vapor Gray/Frosted Ivory” and “Black/Strong Gray”, the PUMA Mostro Archive Pack features a subtle faded finish combined with technical ripstop material on the upper. This design offers a timeless expression of hybrid footwear that nods to the shoe’s heritage in the late ’90s while maintaining a tasteful simplicity.
The low-profile Mostro is distinguished by its signature features, including its signature spiked sole and functional strap closure. First introduced in 1999, the Mostro’s name is derived from the Italian word for “monster,” capturing the shoe’s experimental look that borrows from the sprinting spikes of the ’60s and laid-back surf shoes of the ’80s.
The Archive Pack’s monochromatic take on the hybrid shoe design perfectly captures the experimental spirit of the original Mostro. The subtle faded finish and technical ripstop material combine modern aesthetics with a nod to its heritage, making it a must-have for sneaker enthusiasts.
The latest PUMA Mostro Archive Pack is now available at select retailers worldwide including KITH, Slam Jam, END. Clothing, SSENSE, SNS and Atmos.
