The highly coveted Nike Dunk Low “Plum” is scheduled to make a triumphant return in 2024, after captivating fans with its retro release in 2020. Originally released in 2001 as part of the exclusive “Ugly Duckling” pack alongside the “Veneer” and “Ceramic” colorways, the “Plum” Dunk Low quickly gained a cult following for its unique charm.
This low-top Dunk features a smooth suede upper in a rich “Daybreak” hue, accented with contrasting “Barn” and “Plum” overlays on the mudguard, Swoosh, and heel tab. The design is completed with a clean white midsole and a matching set of laces. This return of the “Plum” Dunk Low suggests that Nike isn’t quite ready to relegate the silhouette to the past, despite some speculation that the Dunk’s reign might be nearing its end.
