According to renowned sneaker insider @cakenotcrumbs, two original colorways of the Nike Air Max Sunder will be released later this year. The “Deep Ocean/Gold/Deep Yellow” and “Black/Light Graphite/Gray” iterations showcase the shoe’s authentic ’90s aesthetic, staying true to the original design that graced Nike catalogs at the turn of the millennium.
While Nike previously collaborated with COMME des GARÇONS on a limited-edition Air Max Sunder release in 2021, the upcoming drop marks the first time the sneaker will be available as a general release since its initial debut. Unlike the CDG collaboration, which featured a contemporary twist on the silhouette, the 2024 versions aim to replicate the original design, complete with the signature TPR pods.
