Nike will dazzle shoe lovers with the upcoming release of the Nike Air Max Plus “Iridescent”. This iconic silhouette, originally designed by Sean McDowell, returns in its classic form, but with a futuristic twist that is sure to turn heads.
The most striking feature of this iteration is the upper, which is adorned with an iridescent finish that changes color depending on your viewing angle. This innovative material showcases a spectrum of purples, blues, greens and pinks that mimic the mesmerizing effect of an oil slick. More than just a change of hue, Nike introduces this color-shifting treatment to breathe new life into the popular Tuned Air model.
Black TPU overlays add depth and contrast to the dynamic upper, while teal accents highlight the branding and Tuned Air cushioning units. A crisp white midsole wraps the signature cushioning system for the comfort and support fans have come to expect. A durable outsole with a multi-traction pattern provides stability and grip for both athletes and style enthusiasts.
The Nike Air Max Plus “Iridescent” is scheduled to launch in Spring 2025 and will be available at select Nike Sportswear retailers. Sneaker lovers can find them both in-store and online at Nike.com, with a suggested retail price of $180 USD.
