The Nike Air Max Dn, a silhouette that debuted in March 2024 with a focus on clean and essential colorways, is taking a detour from its minimalist path with the introduction of a head-turning “Gold Bullet” iteration. This exciting new design borrows inspiration from the iconic Air Max 97‘s legendary “Gold Bullet” colorway, injecting a dose of glamour and heritage into the Air Max Dn’s repertoire.
The Air Max Dn Gold Bullet stays true to its namesake, boasting a striking “Metallic Gold” upper. The material switches things up between the smooth, solid finish on the top portion and a captivating brushed metallic sheen on the mudguard, adding a touch of textural intrigue. Visible Air units nestled within a clean white midsole offer a glimpse of innovative cushioning technology, while subtle Air Max Dn branding keeps things recognizable. A pop of gold graces the center of the outsole, echoing the shoe’s dominant hue.
Eagle-eyed fans of the Air Max 97 “Gold Bullet” might notice a slight deviation on the Air Max Dn. While the original featured a red mini Swoosh, this interpretation keeps the midfoot branding gold for a cohesive look. Red accents do make an appearance on the outsole, staying consistent with the standard design elements of the Air Max Dn.
Scheduled for a Fall 2024 release, the “Gold Bullet” Air Max Dn is expected to retail for $160. Although Nike hasn’t confirmed a specific drop date yet.
