The adidas Supernova Prima is the latest addition to the Supernova family, designed to elevate everyday running with unparalleled comfort and support. Packed with more DREAMSTRIKE+ Super Foam than any other adidas running shoe, the Supernova Prima is inspired by and built for the most ambitious runners seeking both extra cushioning and reliable stability.
JT Newcomb, Category Director of adidas Running Footwear, highlights the brand’s focus on comfort within the Supernova family. “With Supernova Prima, we want to reward runners’ progressing goals by providing more comfort than ever, as well as just the right level of support,” says Newcomb.
The Supernova Prima features 13% more DREAMSTRIKE+ Super Foam than its predecessor, the Supernova Rise. This additional foam, inspired by the LIGHTSTRIKE PRO foam used in the record-breaking Adizero family, provides runners with unmatched comfort from heel to toe, with an additional 4mm of foam targeted under the ball of the foot.
The innovative LIGHTTRAXION outsole, ergonomically designed to complement the midfoot and forefoot, keeps the shoe lightweight while maintaining a strong grip. The wider Support Rods, slightly firmer than the Rise, ensure the forefoot lands with ample support.
