Ben Herath, adidas‘ VP of Design, gave us the lowdown on how the shoe was developed: “With this model, we wanted to make a pared-back tennis shoe to really enhance athlete movement on court. Through collaboration with our players, we incorporated their feedback to carefully evolve features from previous models and introduced technology from other sports, never seen before in our tennis shoes. The result is an elite-level shoe fine-tuned for speed.”
The Adizero Ubersonic 5 is set to make its big debut at the first major tournament of the 2025 season, and it’ll be on the feet of top-tier players aiming for glory. The shoe’s eye-catching Lucid Red color and bold three-stripe design are sure to turn heads on and off the court.
