A Ma Maniére, the boutique retailer renowned for its exquisite taste in sneakers, is celebrating its 10th anniversary in style. The Atlanta-based store has joined forces with Jordan Brand to create a stunning iteration of the Air Jordan 3, a shoe that has been meticulously designed to showcase the retailer’s keen eye for detail. By combining premium materials, bold colorways, and a dash of creativity, A Ma Maniére has once again proven why its collaborations are highly anticipated events in the sneaker world.
The Air Jordan 3 Retro, set to drop on August 21st, 2024, boasts an all-black tumbled leather upper, accented by perforated suede panels in a rich Violet Ore hue. The latter, a signature color for A Ma Maniére, adds a touch of sophistication to the shoe’s design. Flat Pewter grey hairy suede panels replace the iconic elephant print, injecting a sense of modernity into the classic silhouette. Meanwhile, a yellowed tint on the midsole lends an aged aesthetic, a common theme in A Ma Maniére’s previous collaborations with Jordan Brand.
One of the standout features of this Air Jordan 3 is its deconstructed execution, which results in a more form-fitting appearance. The pinched ankle collars and tongues create a sleeker, more streamlined look that will undoubtedly appeal to sneaker enthusiasts. As is customary with A Ma Maniére’s releases, the shoes come with a series of hang-tags, including the brand’s label and a 1988-inspired plastic hang-tag in Violet Ore.
To complete the premium package, the shoes will be attached to a plush cloth/scarf in dark burgundy, while the special-edition shoe-box proudly commemorates A Ma Maniére’s tenth anniversary. With an MSRP of $250, this limited-edition Air Jordan 3 is sure to fly off the shelves.
