Converse has joined forces with Dungeons & Dragons to celebrate the beloved role-playing game’s 50th anniversary in 2024. The collaboration brings together two cultural powerhouses, offering fans a unique opportunity to express their love for the fantasy realm through fashion.
The limited edition Converse x Dungeons & Dragons collection features three distinct versions of the classic Chuck 70 silhouette, each paying homage to various elements of the game. The star of the collection is undoubtedly the molded star patch, which captures the iconic shape of the 20-sided die, an essential tool for any D&D player.
Attention to detail is paramount throughout the design process, with the uppermost eyelet shaped like a hexagon, a nod to the grids used during gameplay. Character sheets, an integral part of the D&D experience, inspire additional details hidden behind the tongue, while the shoe itself is modified to resemble the fearsome mimic from the Monster Manual.
