The mysterious Nike Air Max Dn you glimpsed towering over Times Square on the MSG Sphere is finally materializing. But before you race to your nearest retailer, there’s a slight delay – the official release is set for March 26th. However, a special “Panda” colorway hitting shelves earlier on March 18th might just test your patience (and your credit card).
This first look at the “Panda” Air Max Dn unveils a crisp black and white composition, evoking images of everyone’s favorite monochrome mammal (or a tuxedo-clad penguin, if you prefer). The Dn’s design shines with this two-toned treatment. The upper is bathed in black, sharply contrasted by the clean white mudguard and sole. The signature visible Air unit, with its four horizontal chambers, offers a clear view of the technology within. Finishing touches include the vibrant yellow and red logos adorning the tongue and heel, adding a pop of color to the monochrome masterpiece.
Mark your calendars and set those alarms – the Nike Air Max Dn “Black/White” (aka “Panda”) releases on March 18th, with the full collection dropping on March 26th. Both will be available on Nike.com and select retailers for a cool $160.
