HOKA has teamed up with WTAPS, a pioneering force in the Japanese streetwear scene, to create a captivating capsule collection that seamlessly blends performance and street-ready style. The WTAPS x HOKA collaboration features four distinct footwear options, each embodying the Japanese label’s signature military aesthetic.
The Anacapa Low Gore-Tex and Ora Luxe sandals, available in fatigue green and black colorways, feature an array of meticulously crafted details reminiscent of military surplus gear. Travis Wiseman, HOKA’s Director of Lifestyle Product, expressed his excitement about the collaboration, saying, “Together, we’ve crafted a collection of footwear that not only embodies superior performance but also reflects the bold attitude and authenticity synonymous with both brands — the perfect fusion of comfort, function and street-ready flair.“
The waterproof Anacapa Low hiking sneaker features a mixed-material upper with a ripstop toe and silver trim that complements the gray midsole on both colorways. Eye-catching accents include a safety orange pull tab, WTAPS branding above the toe, embossed “Urban Territory 813” text on the heel, and GPS coordinates pointing to Tokyo’s trendy Shibuya district on the lateral midfoot.

Meanwhile, the Ora Luxe sandal features a sturdy Velcro strap system and a distinctive sole unit.
